My son bought me a Microsoft Micro:Bit for Father's Day. Fascinating little - it's meant to be a follow on from the BBC Terminals used in the 1980s. Basically it looks and feels like a Raspberry Pi, with loads of options. The BBC and various other company's support has paid for the Project and the aim is supply ALL Y7 (11-12 year olds) in the UK . Over 1 million units have been given away as of now


  • I've been trying to think of something interesting to do with one. But it's only got 16K ??

    There's a chess program i wrote that would fit in that. Maybe display a move on the LCDs. Otherwise not many ideas.

    How much power does it drain on batteries.
